DGIC Solar Webinar July 19

Join the Distributed Generation Interconnection Collaborative (DGIC) on July 19 for a free webinar on the topic of plug-and-play solar.

To date, the solar interconnection process has involved a narrowly defined set of equipment, installed by professionals in a particular manner. However, new technologies are proposing to radically simplify the construction, wiring, and interconnection of these systems. Learn how these new "plug-and-play" technologies and techniques could deliver equipment and labor cost savings, necessitate changes to interconnection standards and procedures, and even reduce utility effort required for analysis and inspection.

Date and Time: July 19, 2017, 12–1 p.m. Mountain Time

Speakers: Matthew Kromer (Director of Grid Integration, Fraunhofer Center for Sustainable Energy Systems) and Justin Woodard (Principal Engineer, NES New Grid Offerings, National Grid)
