Our first Innovation Series spotlights new techniques in online learning by three exemplary faculty members from across the country. Wednesday, February 3rd 1:30PM-2:00PM PST Presenter: James Horst Students are not engaging while learning remotely. Many of the senses that would normally be present during face-to-face learning are lost in the remote environment. James presentation will incorporate the use of a 5 camera system while using Zoom to present energy concepts. He will review simple, but strong recommendations, video-making tips, and points to consider to move you up the learning curve quickly. Teaching an Energy Physics Course in fall, Jennifer will present what worked well and what didn't and demonstrate some of the technology that has helped make teaching in our current environment easier.
